Who We Are

Blessed Day, part of Hemelz. Accessible via the website: https://gs.blessedday.nl

Comments and Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, and the browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies last for one year.
When you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set several cookies to save your login information and your screen settings. Login cookies last for two days, and screen settings cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login information will persist for two weeks. If you log out, the login cookies are removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. This cookie expires after one day.

Third-party cookies

We currently do not use Google Analytics or similar technologies. This means we do not place third-party analytics cookies and we do not share any information. Fonts are also stored locally (so not downloaded from Google with every visit). Therefore, we do not need to display a cookie notification. To avoid confusion, we may display a cookie-free notification.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may contain embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly the same as if the visitor has visited that other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content. This applies even if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who do we share your data with?

We do not actively share data about visitors or clients. However, if a site uses Google Analytics, Google does track certain data about you as a visitor. Even if you visit the site incognito, you can’t assume that everything is actually incognito. However, we have no connection with Google Analytics. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the email requesting a password reset.

Sharing data with third parties

Behind the scenes, there are third parties who may have access to some of our and your data. This doesn’t mean they have access, but they could have access under certain circumstances. It’s impossible to exclude necessary access during maintenance, precisely because usernames and email addresses are the components that need to be configured or may malfunction.

  • SMTP handler: They handle the SMTP sending of all website emails and newsletters. This provides them with access to email addresses and the subject line of the email.
  • Blessed Day / Hemelz has access to the site, usernames (not passwords), and email accounts during website maintenance or changes.
  • On behalf of the web designer (Blessed Day), a supplier of a component of the website, such as Kadence, is sometimes temporarily granted limited access.
  • Modular DS: They handle security, backups, and updates for the website. Therefore, they theoretically have access to usernames (not passwords).
  • Hosting, such as mijn.host. They could have access to usernames (not passwords) and email accounts.

If there is an online store, the payment provider (such as Mollie) has access to the data needed to process the payment, such as the name, address, and email address of visitors.

How long we retain data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments.

What rights do you have over your data?

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. If you subscribe to our newsletter, your details (email address) will be stored on a mailing list hosted by Brevo.
